- 5/5Opinion confirmed by purchaseBest merino-stuff you can get for the price! Mine are made by Janusfabrikken from Bergen/Norway (Janus is making the stuff in Bergen, not importing it from China an labelling it with a norwegia brand!) . The company just won the next contract to supply NATO-Troops with merino-stuff. I think this says everything. I used them first only as a midlayer, because I have a very sensible skin in terms of itching. I was getting mad to find anything made of merino to wear directly on the skin. Most of the expensive brands that offer soft 100% merino-stuff costumers tell they are having problems with holes after 3-4 washes. I did not want to spend hundreds of euro for merino underwear that gets holes an so I tried the following: Wear these dutch ones inside-out directly to the skin. It works excellent! Of course it is not as soft as pima-cotton but even for my sensible skin it works. As I wrote I have some of them in different qualities. Depending on the temperature/activity I combine 1-3 of them. I normally wear XL, with these L is OK for me for the base- and mid-layer, but thinking of buying some in XL to use these as third/outer layer. Three layers of these an a Helikon Tramontane windshirt kept me comfortably warm on a 0°C day without much activity. And I'm not that Nordic Viking type, but more the southern Roman legionary type when it comes to temperature ;-)2026-01-02
- 5/5Opinion confirmed by purchaseGreat quality! Perfect for hiking as a base or mid layer. Dries fast, and doesn't irritate the skin. Recommend sizing down. I usually wear size large and medium was perfect.2025-06-19

- 5/5Opinion confirmed by purchaseExcellent quality. The label says thick wool but its not really that thick Sizing wise a L is a bit large for me where it would normally fit well so you might want to go a size smaller.2024-11-12
- 5/5Opinion confirmed by purchaseGood and comfy. Size runs rather large, 190cm, 95kg, went for XL but i still have a lot of space around chest and the shirt is so long, L would fit better.2024-03-07
