Firefighter jacket coming from military resources. Meets NFPA 1971, 2013. The garment provides protection from the thermal environment and bloodborne pathogen hazards encountered during structural and proximity fire fighting operations.
Two layers consist of Gentex Style 1098 and Caldura SL2B fabrics. Gentex Style 1098 is specifically designed to be lightweight and flexible and provide the firefighter with protection against fire. It offers extremely effective 95% heat reflectance. Each roll of Gentex fabric is thoroughly tested and provides uncompromising functions. The Caldura SL2B liner utilizing blended of DuPont™ Kevlar® and Nomex®.
The moisture barrier is provided by GORE® Crosstech Black 2F which has earned a well-deserved reputation for being the best in the world for liquid-resistance and breathability. BLACK is the latest and most durable GORE® CROSSTECH® barrier yet. It substrates NOMEX® fabric woven from spun fibers (pajama check).
The jacket is equipped with Drag Rescue Device straps. The loop on the Drag Rescue Device is designed to be used by one firefighter to help drag an incapacitated firefighter to safety. The DRD strap is installed between the outer shell and the liner. The item includes instruction in English.
