The backpack from warehouse resources made for US Marine Corpse to provide a lasting and light transport for clothes and tools. ILBE (Improved Load Bearing Equipment) II generation USMC designed by Arc'teryx to carry heavy equipment and made by a brand Propper International. The idea of ILBE is an easier way to configurate accoutrement for a mission and maximize the mobility of marines in combat environment.
The comfort of carrying the equipment (capacity of max. 55kg) is supported by inner frame with two metal ribs on the outer sides. The support system has been shaped to fit the backs of all soldiers. A soft padding on the back, on the waist belt and braces brings comfort to the user. A wide waist belt evenly spreads the weight around the body. The shoulder braces can be adjusted, a belt in the breastbone area can be lifted or lowered to fit both men and women.
The main compartment can be closed with a drawstring and flap which can be fastened. The material protects the contents of the backback from the dust. The flap protects from the rain and it also consists of a compartment that can be zippered and additional MOLLE tapes. The main compartment has a place for a radio ammunition bag (in the kit). Specifically prepared liner can be used to divide the compartment into upper and lower parts. Zip fasteners on the front of the backpack on both sides enable an access to the bottom without taking everything out from the upper part.
Four compression straps on each side enable adjusting the backpack to different sizes of the load to keep the equipment in one place during a trip. Lower pockets on both sides of the main compartment enable a good support during carrying longer items or to fit additional water bottles. Durable zippers on both sides enable an access to an equipment in the main compartment without opening the flap. The back and the sides of the backpack are sewn with Molle straps which allows to strap something additional down. The Molle system enables to attach a divider for a hydration system (not included in the set)
The set consists of the main backpack, an assault backpack and a radio ammunition bag.
