Military Leather Danish Shoes Original New

You can’t find a better boot at this price point, you’ld have to Pay at least 5 times as much. They are very roomy though but that’s nothing that a pair of insoles and thick socks won’t fix. The only thing I have to complain about is that the soles are extrememly stiff, they pretty much don’t flex at all when walking but it looks like they are goodyear welted so you can easily get them resoled at your local cobbler.

I bought this boots on December 1th 2021, receive it on January 10th 2022, the quality is excellent, good materials, perfect fit with insoles, really durable and the leather are super strong.

Definitely a great product. I have seen a lot of military boots (mostly from the US), and I am sure it is really difficult to find a pair with the quality of the Danish boots. They really are an example of the highest levels of craftsmanship. The pebbled leather is very thick (I believe around 2-2.5 mm) and practically waterproof (beautiful, as well). The soles are significantly thicker than it appears in the pictures, goodyear welt, and the style is very nice. A tremendously durable product, without a doubt. The only issue is that they come too big and REALLY wide. I understand they were designed to be used with two pairs of thick socks but even taking that into account, I believe they were too wide. I would say that they were easily Extra Wide in terms of width (maybe a bit more). Since I normally use Medium, for me there was no way to fix that issue. I tried double socks and thick insoles, and they still were too wide (to the extent that I had to give them away as a gift). Nevertheless, that was a sizing problem and had nothing to do with their quality (which I insist, is superb).

These boots are very good quality. Good thick leather and sturdy construction. They are winter boots, so they are rather wide and bulky. Think about taking a size less if you are not using them with insoles and thick socks. Check or ask Mondopoint dimensions (foot's length-width) to avoid surprises. I had to return them because they were too big for me, but otherwise, they are perfect boots for everything on the woods. Smear oil or grease on the leather to keep it soft and flexible. These boots can be resoled after years of use, which is a good reason to purchase them.

I made sure I got two pairs before I wrote this review! I've been wearing combat boots for 25 years as a professional infantry soldier and civilian and these boots are what you wish other ones were. Thick almost invincible 99% waterproof leather and extremely durable non clogging Soles with replaceable heel pieces. These are not hot weather/summer boots, they were issued with two pairs of wool felt insoles 1-5mm thick,1-7mm thick and ultra heavy/thick m58 wool socks (one pair=0.4kg), keep this in mind when fitting them!
