Made of the original GORE-TEX so it is waterproof, windproof and breathable. All seams are additionally taped so cover is 100% waterproof. It is fastened with double-sided zipper covered with material insertion with snaps. In the upper part is located a drawcord for perfect fit. Expedition Cover will be perfect with mummy type sleeping bags (width in upper part 90 cm, width at the bottom 63 cm).

I ordered two sleeping bag cover Carinthia Expedition and a Okulary Ochronne BBS-2. I received the two covers but unfortunately the glasses were missing. Beyond that oblivion, covers were in very good shape and included the transport/compression bag.It is definitely a light model, comfortable, visible and with quick access. Unlike other Carinthia bags, this one has a more waterproof/plastic surface on the bottom, which perhaps provides additional protection from moisture or snow. However it seems advisable to use it together with a tarp because the bag does not close completely at the head. It seems equally useful to use it with a mat allowing to rise a bit the line of the side zipper and therefore preventing the entry of water in the case of heavy rain or flooding.
Used sleeping bag cover in great condition. No holes or stains. Still waterproof. Stuff sack is dissolving/delaminating slightly inside. I like the orange color so it can be used to signal for help in case of emergencies. I'm not sure how old this bag is, but the color is only slightly faded. It has the zip low on the side, not on the top as the new models. If the ground is very wet this could be an issue when you get in/out, and you can't open it up to ventilate as well as with the new model if the ground is wet but the rain has stopped. Also the new model has dimensions 245/100/72, 30 cm longer than this model, but the new model is also 250 grams heavier. For the reduced price this bag is pretty good value if you don't need the extra length to put your backpack etc inside. I like the color and the price/performance ratio.
