Because they have properties such as resistance to destructibility of material by fire, mechanical damage and heat. Thanks to these advantages pants are ideal as layer of clothing protecting body against fire. It is used by, among others, firefighters, pilots, race car drivers and astronauts.
They have drawstring at waist, so it is possible to adjust their circumference. In addition there is no possibility of moving above the ankle.
