Sturdy compass with alright build quality. Mine is ever so slightly bent but "good enough for military work". Phosphorus coated parts will not stay bright very long, but it should be enough on a good moonlit night, however i would recommend having a red light for night navigation regardless. One of the better compasses in this price range.
