Functional side panels with quick release buckles, connecting front and back in the SPITFIRE MK II, SPITFIRE and HELLCAT Plate Carrier.

Based on the basic SPITFIRE system cummerbund, it is additionally equipped with ROC quick release buckles. Although the cummerbund itself is traditionally mounted to the front of the plate carrer using Velcro, to unfasten or fasten it is possible by only pulling the dedicated cord to unfasten the buckle or slide the buckle down to fasten it.

The outer layer is made of a laser cut modular system compatible with MOLLE/PALS. The inner layer is made of flexible nylon fabric, which together with the outer layer creates Velcro-fastened pockets for flat objects or additional ballistic plates. The partially flexible construction provides additional freedom of movement.
