Sleeping Bag Tropen (+5°C / -8°C) Carinthia Multicam Black

The mummy type sleeping bag was produced by the Austrian company Carinthia, which specialises in the production of high quality sleeping bags for the military.

The advantage of Tropen sleeping bag is its small packing dimensions and mosquito net. Tropen is equipped with the Shelltrans shell, that fits loosely over the inner structure and provides an extra layer of insulation with no cold seams. An important feature of the sleeping bag is also high vapor permeability, which is particularly useful during hot and humid nights. In addition, the two-way zipper allows it to be detached at the bottom for increased ventilation. The zipper is additionally protected from getting snugged to allow quick escape from the sleeping bag. The trapezoidal design in the foot area provides maximum legroom and additionally allows for better heat retention inside.

The single-layer construction without quilted coating means that the padding does not adhere to the insulating layer of the G-LOFT filling. This solution creates an additional layer of air between the coating and the insulation, which prevents cold from entering the interior.

The product is compatible with other Carinthia sleeping bags: it can be combined with another Carinthia sleeping bag to create a product suitable for lower temperatures.
