Jacket G-LOFT ISG 2.0 Carinthia Woodland

The Carinthia G-Loft ISG 2.0 is a technical hybrid jacket. By combining the softshell outer shell with the G-Loft insulation, the jacket is particularly moisture resistant and even in heavy rainfall, the G-Loft fibers retain their insulating properties and elasticity. The jacket can be used as a warming or outer layer.

The inside of the collar is made of soft thermo fleece. This material provides excellent heat insulation and is resistant to moisture. The sleeves and side areas of the jacket are sewn in durable, easily stretchy Softshell, which protects against wind and moisture while remaining breathable. The use of this material makes it possible to avoid unnecessary heat accumulation in the area of the hands during dynamic movements. The jacket has two large zipped outer pockets. The inside of the jacket is lined with a special soft fabric, so that the items inserted inside are protected and the bag has a slightly warming function. The jacket has two shoulder pockets, which are closed with a waterproof zipper. This is an extra space for small items. The jacket also has Velcro fasteners on the shoulders, which can be used to attach name tags. The pre-shaped sleeves of the jacket adapt to the shoulder structure. They also influence wearing comfort and freedom of movement. The jacket has a hood with pull cords adjustable in two directions. This hood can be removed or attached to the collar. The jacket is closed with a waterproof zipper. The lock has a windproof flap inside and is closed with a chin protection.

The insulation is only attached to the front and back of the jacket, without the sleeves, to avoid unnecessary heat build-up during the activity. The excellent heat capacity of the G-LOFT® fibers and the water repellent, windproof and breathable properties of the 3-layer softshell outer coating give this jacket a unique character. During the transition period, the jacket provides excellent protection against changing weather conditions. The insulation retains its heat output under humid conditions. Even after soaking, the G-Loft fiber filling in the jacket does not lose its elasticity and quickly returns to its original shape. The ISG 2.0 jacket was specifically designed for use in the intelligence services. Special cut with triple layer Gore Softshell, combine functionality and comfort in the daily work of uniformed personnel. In addition, the upper shoulder areas are framed with durable material, so that the jacket is not damaged, e.g. when wearing a backpack. The inserts also represent a unique design of this model.
