All seams are additionally taped to provide 100% of waterproofness.
Cover is fastened using double-sided zipper covered with material insertation with snaps. At the top is a drawcord and Velcro so you can completely close the case.
Cover was used but it is in the state rated as at least good, sometimes it may have military stamp indicating cassation from the army.

Great bivy bag and great price.
I bought an un-issued/storage condition bag, my mate also got one.
They are good, but....they are quite tight (small ish).
The head area that goes over your face is pretty tight as well.
I would still recommend.
