The new version of the Raccoon® backpack from Helikon-Tex. Lightweight, durable with a capacity of 20 litre, it is optimal for everyday use, but also for short field trips and tactical activities where a larger backpack would be an unnecessary burden.
The Raccoon Mk2 Backpack® has one large outer pocket, about the size of the main compartment. Inside it there is a simple organizer that allows certain placement of the transported equipment. The main compartment has a flat, large pocket and a system for transporting the camelbak type hydration bag. On the outside of the backpack are sewn straps compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system. In addition, on the surface of the outer pocket is interwoven elastic cord with stopper (shock cord) allowing quick attachment of additional elements such as jacket, mats, etc. At the bottom of the backpack there are two compression straps.
When carrying a heavy load, a straight, webbing waist belt helps to distribute the weight properly, and the retractable straps will allow you to quickly "get rid" of the load from your back.
