Kettle Scout Stainless Steel 1,2 l Kelly Kettle (50113)

This is an extremely efficient camping kettle from the valued Irish producer Kelly Kettle. Kelly Kettle has been an essential piece of camping equipment for Irish fishermen and now the popularity of the Kelly Kettles has spread worldwide. 

The Kelly Kettle is basically a clever device for boiling water ultra-fast in the outdoors using only natural fuels, such as sticks, twigs, dry grass, and pine cones.  The inside is hollow - this is the chimney. You build your fire inside in the chimney and in the fire-base which the kettle sits on. The water is all around the outside of the chimney in a double walled water chamber. The reason the water boils so quickly is that the heat from the fire heats the large surface area of the chimney, bringing water to the boil super-fast.  Because the fire is protected from wind and rain, the kettle will work perfectly in even the most extreme weather conditions so there is no need for wind screens etc.

All the new kettles has a green whistle stopper - it will let you know when the water has boiled. The new model does not include rivets.

The Scout kettle comes with upgraded steel Fire-Base and carrying bag.
